Comfort fixes

Fix the small problem before replacing everything.

A bed can feel wrong for simple reasons. Start with the easiest adjustment, then move through the layers: room, bedding, pillow, mattress surface, and routine.

Too Hot

Room, airflow, layers, and bedding changes to try.

Too Cold

Layering and room-prep ideas for a warmer feel.

Pillow Too Soft

Loft, fill distribution, support inserts, and replacement clues.

Use a one-change-at-a-time approach

Changing five things at once makes it hard to know what helped. Try one adjustment for a few nights when practical: lighter sheets, a different pillowcase, an opened vent, a different blanket layer, or moving a lamp.

Look for repeat patterns

A problem that happens only on warm evenings may be a room issue. A problem that happens with one pillowcase may be texture. A problem that follows a new comforter may be weight or heat retention. Patterns save money.
